Discord & Verification

TL;DR: Join Discord → in-game run /verify to get a code → in Discord, run /verify <code> (or DM the bot the code) → you're linked.

Join

The PBG Discord is the hub for everything off-server: announcements, support tickets, player trading, gym applications, and casual conversation.

Linking is optional — you can play without it. What linking unlocks:

Your in-game chat name shows in Discord, and Discord messages show with your linked MC name in-game (instead of your Discord display name).
Server-side support staff can match your Discord ticket to your in-game character without you needing to spell out your username every time.
A few cosmetic Discord roles tied to in-game milestones (gym champions, raid completions) can attach to you automatically.

In-game, type /verify. The bot DMs you a one-time code in chat. The code looks like a short string of digits and letters.
In Discord, either:
- Run the /verify slash command in any channel and paste your code into the code field, or
- DM the PBG bot with /verify <code>.
The bot confirms with a "verified" message in Discord, and your Minecraft name now appears alongside your Discord username in both directions of the chat bridge.

If the bot says your code is invalid, generate a fresh one in-game (/verify again) — codes expire after a few minutes.

You can pull the invite link in-game too:

The bot didn't DM me the code. Discord's "allow DMs from server members" privacy setting must be on for the server. Server Settings → Privacy Settings → toggle "Direct Messages" on for the PBG server.
My Discord verify says "code not found". The code expired. Run /verify in-game again.
My linked name still shows my Discord display name. Disconnect and rejoin the server — the in-game chat-bridge caches your name on connect.
