Cobblemon Bosses are rare, powerful Pokemon that spawn in the wild. They're tougher than normal encounters but offer much better rewards — the higher the tier, the greater the prize.
How Boss Spawns Work
Boss Pokemon have a 0.5% chance to spawn in place of a normal wild Pokemon. They can appear anywhere in the world, so keep your eyes open while exploring!
How to Identify a Boss
- Larger than normal — Boss Pokemon are visibly bigger than their regular counterparts
- Glowing effect — Bosses emit a noticeable glow, making them stand out
Boss Tiers
Bosses come in 4 tiers of rarity and difficulty:

Spawn chances are relative — of all boss spawns, 50% will be Common tier, 30% Uncommon, and so on. The 0.5% base spawn rate applies first, then the tier is rolled.
Rewards
Rewards scale with the boss tier:

Battle Tips
- Solo or group — You can battle bosses alone or team up with friends for tougher tiers
- Come prepared — Higher-tier bosses hit hard, so bring a strong team and healing items
- Don't run — Boss encounters are rare, so make the most of every one!
