PBG ships with two in-game lookup tools so you don't need to leave the game to check Pokémon data or track down nearby spawns.

PokéNav

PokéNav lets you scan the area around you to see which Pokémon are nearby and helps you track them down. Essential for finding specific spawns, hunting shinies, and completing your Pokédex.

How to get PokéNav

Purchase a PokéNav item from the Server Shop at spawn. Once you have one, you can scan from anywhere.

How it works

PokéNav scans the area around you and shows nearby Pokémon, including:

  • Species — what's nearby
  • Distance — how far away they are
  • Direction — which way to go to find them

Scan radius

Your scan radius depends on your permissions:

TierRange
Standard50 blocks
Extended100 blocks

Cooldown

TierDuration
Standard120 seconds
Reduced60 seconds

Click-to-teleport

PokéNav supports clicking on a result to teleport directly to that Pokémon's location. This feature unlocks via Dex Rewards progression or as a donator perk.

Tips

  • Use PokéNav when exploring new biomes to see what's available
  • Great for tracking down rare spawns you've spotted in chat broadcasts
  • Combine with catch combos to find more spawns of your combo species
  • Teleport quickly to reach Pokémon before they despawn
PokéNav is one of the most useful tools for shiny hunting and completing your Pokédex. Pick one up from the server shop early.
