The Sniffer mob has been enhanced with Cobblemon-themed archaeology drops. While Sniffers still dig up their vanilla plant items, they now have a chance to unearth valuable Cobblemon materials as well — giving you a great reason to hunt down and breed these ancient creatures.
How It Works
- Find or hatch a Sniffer — Sniffer eggs can be found through suspicious sand archaeology in Warm Ocean Ruins
- Let it roam — Sniffers naturally dig when walking on grass, dirt, or moss
- Collect the drops — each time a Sniffer digs, there's a 60% chance it unearths a Cobblemon archaeology item alongside its normal plant drops

Sniffers can dig up a variety of Cobblemon items:
