Mega Evolution

Temporarily transform your Pokémon into a more powerful form during battle. Unlock Mega Evolution through Dex Rewards.

Mega Evolution temporarily transforms a Pokémon into a significantly more powerful form during battle, boosting its stats and sometimes changing its type or ability.

Mega Evolution is temporary — your Pokémon reverts to its normal form at the end of battle.

How to Unlock

  1. Reach Scout Dex rank — complete 30% of your Pokédex and claim the Scout reward via /dexrewards
  2. Receive the Mega Bracelet — this is included in the Scout one-time rewards
  3. Give your Pokémon a Mega Stone — equip the correct Mega Stone as the Pokémon's held item before battle
  4. Activate during battle — select the Mega Evolution option when choosing your move
See Dex Rewards for full details on reaching Scout rank and the 30% Dex requirement.

Mega Stones

Each Mega Stone is specific to one Pokémon species. The stone must be held by that Pokémon during battle to trigger Mega Evolution.
