Raid Dens

Participate in epic raid battles against powerful Pokemon in raid dens scattered across the world.

Raid Dens bring Pokemon's raid battle system to Cobblemon! Face powerful raid Pokemon in epic battles, just like in the main series games. Work together with other players to defeat raid bosses and earn amazing rewards.

What Are Raid Dens?

Raid Dens are special structures that spawn throughout the overworld. Each den contains a powerful raid Pokemon that you can battle with other players. Raids range from Tier 1 to Tier 7, with higher tiers featuring stronger and rarer Pokemon.

A raid den structure found in the overworld - interact with it to start or join a raid battle.

Finding Raid Dens

Raid crystals are generated naturally in the overworld. Keep an eye out while exploring - they can appear anywhere! Higher-tier dens are rarer but offer better rewards.

Use warps to quickly travel to different areas and search for raid dens. Some players create warps near popular raid locations!

Starting a Raid

Becoming the Host

The first player to find and enter a raid den automatically becomes the host. As the host, you control who can join your raid.

Joining a Raid

If someone else has already started a raid, you can request to join:

  • Send a Join Request - Use /crd request to send a request to join an active raid
  • Host Approval - The host can approve or deny your request
  • Wait for Approval - Once approved, you'll be teleported to the raid dimension

Raid Commands

CommandDescription
/crd invite <player>Invite a specific player to join your raid (host only)
/crd requestRequest to join an active raid
/crd broadcastBroadcast your raid to chat so other players can request to join
Use /crd broadcast when you find a good raid den! This lets other players know about it and request to join, making it easier to fill your raid party.

Battling

Starting the Battle

Press R at the raid boss to start your battle. All participating players engage in their own individual 1v1 battles against the raid boss.

Shared Health Pool

The raid boss' HP is shared across the entire party. This means:

  • Damage dealt by any player contributes to the same health pool
  • Everyone's attacks help defeat the boss together
  • The boss' health bar is synced for all players
Coordinate with your party! Even though you're in separate battles, your combined damage is what matters. Work together to defeat the boss faster!

Cheers

Cheers are special items that provide party-wide effects during raids!

Obtaining Cheers

  • Tier 3+ Raids - Cheers can be obtained as drops from Tier 3 and higher raids
  • Collect Them - Make sure to pick up cheer drops during raids

Types of Cheers

Cheer TypeEffect
Attack CheerIncreases all party members' Attack (Atk) and Special Attack (Sp Atk) by 1 stage
Defense CheerIncreases all party members' Defense (Def) and Special Defense (Sp Def) by 1 stage

Using Cheers

  • Party-Wide Effect - Each cheer affects the ENTIRE party, not just you
  • Strategic Timing - Use cheers at the right moment to maximize their impact
  • Usage Limit - Each player can use a limited number of cheers per raid battle
Save Heal Cheers for when your party is low on health! They can turn the tide of a difficult raid battle.

Rewards

After successfully defeating a raid boss, you'll receive rewards!

Catching the Raid Boss

  • Choice to Catch - Upon defeating the raid boss, you can choose to attempt to catch it or pass
  • Must Hold a Pokeball - You need to be holding a Pokeball to catch the raid boss
  • Limited Time - You'll have a limited window to catch the Pokemon before it despawns
  • Not All Catchable - Some raid bosses may not be catchable - in this case, you'll automatically pass
Make sure you have Pokeballs ready before starting a raid! You'll need them to catch the Pokemon after defeating it.

Raid Pouch

  • Bonus Rewards - Receive a Raid Pouch containing bonus rewards for completing the raid
  • Random Items - The pouch contains various valuable items
  • Reward Variety - Items can include rare resources, consumables, and special items
Set up a chest shop to sell raid rewards like rare items or Pokemon you catch! Other players are always looking for raid loot.

Fainting

What Happens When You Faint

  • Cannot Rejoin - If your Pokemon faints during a raid battle, you cannot rejoin that ongoing battle
  • Still Get Rewards - Despite fainting, you'll still receive all raid rewards as long as the rest of your party successfully clears the raid
Once your Pokemon faints in a raid, you can't rejoin that battle. Make sure your team is strong enough before attempting higher-tier raids!
Even if you faint, stick around! As long as your party defeats the raid boss, you'll still get all the rewards including the chance to catch the Pokemon and receive a Raid Pouch.

Raid Tiers

Raids come in different tiers, with higher tiers featuring stronger Pokemon and better rewards:

  • Tier 1 - Beginner-friendly raids
  • Tier 2-5 - Moderate to challenging raids (base mod includes all Cobblemon from Tier 1 to Tier 5)
  • Tier 6-7 - Advanced raids with powerful Pokemon
Higher-tier raids are more challenging but offer better rewards. Make sure your team is ready before attempting them!

Tips for Successful Raiding

  • Prepare Your Team - Make sure your Pokemon are leveled and ready for battle
  • Bring Healing Items - Stock up on potions and revives before joining
  • Have Pokeballs Ready - Don't forget to bring Pokeballs to catch the raid Pokemon
  • Use Cheers Strategically - Save cheers for when they'll have the most impact
  • Coordinate with Others - Team up with other players for better success rates
  • Check Raid Tiers - Start with lower-tier raids to get familiar with the system
  • Use Type Advantages - Plan your team to exploit the raid boss' weaknesses
  • Broadcast Good Raids - Use /crd broadcast to help fill your raid party
Use /crd broadcast when you find a high-tier raid den! More players means faster clears and better chances of success.
Raid dens are a great way to obtain rare Pokemon and valuable items. Keep exploring to find them, and don't hesitate to join raids started by other players!
